This dated home with an undersized kitchen and separated living areas was revamped into a large kitchen and living space with elegant finishes. This remodel included a new layout, removal of walls, and new finishes throughout the two living areas, two dining areas, kitchen, mudroom, utility, and butler’s pantry. The result features graceful proportions and welcoming scale, a large and appropriately sized kitchen with expansive island offering storage and casual seating, created to be open to the primary living space that exuded elegance. A custom cabinetry vent hood contrasts with the white kitchen, creating a focal point. Fishbone beam design emphasizes the height of the living room’s vaulted ceiling. Interiors include a combination of stable wood, and stylish metal and glass hardware and light fixtures.
Kitchen was expanded and redesigned with a new layout. It features all new custom cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, high-end appliances, knobs, and light fixtures. A large cased opening was created between the two divided living areas to create a more accessible space. New custom, finished wood flooring and paint throughout tied all of the areas together.
