Traditional ranch house with many dividing walls was redesigned into a transitional, open-concept space with additional living areas and bedrooms. The problematic angled walls that once closed in the kitchen and living space were removed, capturing new space to create a large, cohesive combined kitchen, living, and dining areas. The old guest bedroom suite at the back of the house was converted into a mudroom, utility, and powder bath with direct access to the pool and outdoor living. The old utility space became a home office and command center, featuring a bold wallpaper accent wall. Two new bedrooms and a bath were created out of the existing garage which resulted in a split-bedroom arrangement for the house. A new free-standing garage and attached outdoor kitchen and living space was built in the back yard. The master suite was also updated with new finishes and layouts.
New combined living/kitchen/dining space created with cathedral ceilings throughout. A fireplace in the living room and a vent-hood in the kitchen flank the ends of this space. The Kitchen features a large island, wet bar area, and all new custom cabinets, silestone countertops, hand-fired backsplash, appliances, and hardware. All bathrooms feature all new finishes (cabinetry, countertops, tile, fixtures, etc). The house features all new paint, flooring, trim, and lighting. New Outdoor kitchen and patio is conveniently connected to the new free-standing garage and a short distance from the pool and house.
